Description
Vintage sliding block puzzle, ca. 1930; box reads copyrighted 1927, by Frederic E. Aaron. This was a premium for both Allied Van Lines and the Chautauqua Storage & Transfer Co. The pieces to be moved include a piano (the main piece to be moved from upper left to lower right), table, 2 chairs, sofa, clock, lamp, rug and mat. Under the wood blocks is a printed sheet that reads, "Moving? Call Allied."
Size = approx. 2.5" x 3".
Instructions are on the box lid.
Payment: Payment can be made by Paypal or by check in U.S. dollars, or by Paypal in euro, or by euro through direct transfer of funds into my German bank account at the equivalent of US $1 = 0,80 euro.
Important Shipping Note: I will be preparing for and attending the Essen Spieletage (German game fair) immediately after the auction. I can bring your items won to Essen and save you the shipping cost, but I will not be able to advise on shipping costs or mail items until after the 28th of October! Remember, all items will be shipped from Germany.

- The wood blocks are very good, with very little wear; the names on the blocks can be seen pretty easily. The box has minor stains, but the text and images are clear and clean and the box is sturdy.
