Description

The Mechanical Puzzle 130 magazine covers a wide range of mechanical puzzles with both color and black & white photos throughout. It was published in 2006 and it looks like they interviewed various puzzle designers to get some background on their puzzle designs. There are some fun stories in here, mostly in Japanese although there is some English text. One of the photos is a translated version of the cover.

I included photos of pages covering Oskar’s puzzles, Karakuri, and Edi Nagata. There is a lot more, including coverage of Hanayama, Rubik’s and variants, and impossible objects and puzzle vessels.

The magazine is in excellent condition.

Buyer is responsible for shipping.  Please contact me if you need an estimate for international shipping.  If you wish to estimate shipping costs yourself, most of my listed puzzles should weigh less than 16 ounces (450 grams).  Typically, first-class international is under $22 for up to 8 ounces, and $28-34 for up to 16 ounces.  I will combine multiple items for more cost-effective shipping.  Please check out my other listings: https://market.cubicdissection.com/other-items/fluorescein/101207

I can accept payments via Paypal, Zelle, or Wise.  There will be no additional packaging or handling fees.

I try to grade condition conservatively.  If the puzzle shows any sign of wear from use, it'll be a B or lower. If the puzzle looks like it did when I received it new (barring any defects), it will be graded A.  All puzzles are kept in a smoke-free home maintained at 45-55% humidity.
