Description

The Famous Banzee Island Checkerboard Puzzle is one of the more prolific designs listed in Jacques Haubrich's "A Century of Checkerboard Puzzles." However, this particular advertiser, Lyle. D. Ewing Realty, is not among the thirteen envelopes listed, and is thus new to the puzzle world! The puzzle dates from the 1940's or 1950's. Each square is 1/2 x 1/2 inch; the puzzle consists of 12 thin cardboard pieces, and has 11 solutions. The winning bidder will receive an UNOPENED (sealed envelope) example of this puzzle, with the pieces therefore in mint condition. (The second photo is from an opened copy of the puzzle.) I will include a sealed copy of the 11 solutions for the winning bidder.

I will ship within the US as a first class letter for around $1.92 I am happy to ship internationally at cost, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas packages can be insured or tracked.
