Description
Stickman's Try-Knot Puzzle (No 17)

A hard to find puzzle box complete with instruction booklet. I have owned this puzzle since new.

This particular box is #6 the following is Eric's original wording

"This Stickman Try-Knot Puzzlebox ( No. 17 ) is hand crafted by puzzle artist Robert Yarger from quality wenge, yellowheart and bloodwood with a choice of leopardwood or cocobolo box. This puzzle is of moderate difficulty to solve - it requires a minimum of at least 37 moves in order to access its two secret compartments. The compartments are reached by a process of manipulating the cage-frames that imprison the box. Each frame is restricted by the maze patterns routed directly on the sides of the box itself, increasing the difficulty of the solution.

The Try-Knot box measures 6" x 5" x 4", and weighs approximately 1lb. These are limited edition boxes, and only 55 of them will ever be made. "

Interesting to note that Eric's original listing slightly overstated the weight of the puzzle. As can be seen it weighs about 50g less than five standard puzzle hamsters.

Starting the auction at $1 with no reserve, however worth noting it originally retailed for $499, so please bid generously. Selling so that I can recycle funds into other new puzzles :)

Postage will be at cost from the UK.
