The Box with a Ribbon designed by Akio Kamei, reproduced by Bits & Pieces
This is a remake of Akio Kamei's Ribbon Box (P-27, "The Box with a Ribbon"). Originally created in 1996, Bits and Pieces seems to have remade it several times since it's been called different names including "Elegant Ribbon Puzzle Box" and "Square Ribbon Box". This box is specifically catalog #08-7372 (Square Ribbon Box). The original instructions/solution will be included with the box.
This box was purchased used and I've solved it several times. As many are aware, the Bits and Pieces reproductions can vary in quality. I have not tried Kamei's original box, but I thought this was a fun box with a robust mechanism for opening. It took me longer to open that it should have!
The box is in great cosmetic shape, although there is light wear from handling and age. There is also a slight crack evident where screws have been put into the wood. These do not affect the appearance since they're on the inside or bottom of the box.

Buyer is responsible for shipping which should be $6-8 (within USA, first-class). Priority mail (and heavier puzzles) might be $2 to $5 more. I charge only exact shipping costs. Please contact me if you need an estimate for international shipping. If you wish to estimate shipping costs yourself, I don't think anything that I've listed will weigh more than 16 ounces (450 grams), and the smaller puzzles should be much less than that. I will combine multiple items for cheaper shipping--I have a few packing puzzles and puzzle boxes listed this time.
I can accept payments via Paypal, Zelle, or Transferwise. There will be no additional packaging or handling fees.
I try to grade condition conservatively. If the puzzle shows any sign of wear from use, it'll be a B or lower. If the puzzle looks like it did when I received it new (barring any defects), it will be graded A.
