Description
This is one of the earliest copies of Jerry McFarland's wonderful Quadlock I, a "squashed" cube made of 19 burr sticks, featuring a 4-piece locking system that sets this apart from typical interlocking cubes (and is why I classified it as a Take-Apart rather than just Interlocking). The first phase of its solution feels like lock-picking in some ways, with the interlocking disassembly aspect of the puzzle following. Reassembly is quite tricky but follows a clear logic (again, feeling more like a take-apart than a typical interlocking burr).
The puzzle contains a serial number: "10 JM 92." As per Jerry, this means that it is the 10th copy produced in 1992, making it one of the first copies of the puzzle ever released! I have two early copies of this excellent puzzle (and would otherwise not be willing to let it go).
Included are two unique sets of instructions with graphics and diagrams (from the original 1992 release, as well as the 2008 version).

BurrTools file available upon request.
I need to (reluctantly) sell some pieces from my collection to replenish puzzle funds; all puzzles are kept in a pet-free room between 68 and 73 F, and between 45% and 50% humidity.
(Note: there are some cosmetic marks that may or may not be natural to the wood, I am honestly not sure - I have included pics that show them as best as possible - feel free to contact me with any questions).
