OK not good at describing the condition of books and nor is the hamster. This is an original copy of of the must have book in every puzzlers collection. It is in pretty good condition. A little foxing on the pages, the spine is intact and the binding tight though the spine shows signs of wear/splitting - see pictures.
Since I've been disposing of other dexterity puzzles I've also thrown in a an original Hoffman era dexterity puzzle with this lot.
I asked the SPH to measure the book and he said, I quote, "Frankly if a serious puzzle collector doesn't already own a copy of this book or know the exact dimensions when they see it they are not a real collector" Fighting talk I know. But you know what this item is....
The standardised puzzle Hamster is not included in this auction but is included for scale. A standardised hamster has a length of 160mm, height of 76mm, and weight of 64g.
I am selling these puzzles to raise funds for DCD. Hoping to make enough to attend, buy puzzles and drink beer. Mostly the latter two. I am starting everything at low prices, irrespective of market value, so please bid generously.
