I am selling this Popplock T11 on behalf of a known puzzle collector, who wants to remain anonymous.
Less than 100 locks of this type were manufactured by Rainer Popp. It is considered his opus magnum.

I probably don't need to say much more about the Popplock T11 from the year 2017.
It is one of the largest, most beautiful and most sought after trick locks in our puzzle world. Majestically large and with a weight of 2.5kg a real gem.
Rainer Popp himself wrote: "T11 is my most challenging project so far. The lock has 13 steps to open. The inspiration comes from one of Yales (magic) locks." The Yales lock system, which was invented 150 years ago by Linus Yale Junior, is still in almost every modern front door in the world!
The lock is 100% functional. The lock comes with the original instructions. It was signed by Rainer Popp and then laminated. It was recently fully tested by me and opened for the very first time in its 5 year lock life just last week, it has never been played with before! Like any lock that only stood in a showcase for decoration for 5 years, it could use, in my personal opinion, a drop of oil. Specifically, the step #11 goes very reluctantly. That could be fixed with some oil.
But I leave that to the winner, because everyone has a different taste.
In the photos you can see that it has a defect at the bottom right of the front plate.
The lock has unfortunately fallen down once 2 weeks ago and despite packaging
one corner was slightly deformed. But do not worry, as already mentioned, it is fully checked and the defect has no influence on the mechanism, it is only a visual matter. Basically, the lock is in very good condition! Sure, you can find a small scratch here and there, but nothing you couldn't polish away if you wanted to. Not everyone wants to polish his locks and lets them just tarnish over time, there are also many who like this kind of patina.
For those who want to have the lock in old beauty and without a cosmetic defect in their collection, I have already inquired in the puzzle and metalworking world and got me a few opinions on the processing of the corner.
2 suggestions for you there is to the refurbishment of the fall damage:
1. just sand down the damaged corner and polish
2. solder on some brass and then have it sanded and polished.
Have fun bidding and enjoy the lock. I will miss the lock, but will be very happy if it finds a nice new puzzle home!

Ich muss wohl grundsätzlich zum Popplock T11 aus dem Jahr 2017 nicht mehr viel sagen.
Es ist eines der größten, schönsten und begehrtesten Trickschlösser in unserer Puzzlewelt. Majestätisch groß und mit einem Gewicht von 2.5kg ein echtes Prachtstück.
Rainer Popp selber schrieb dazu: „T11 ist mein bislang herausforderndstes Projekt. Das Schloss hat 13 Schritte zum Öffnen. Die Inspiration stammt von einem von Yales (magischen) Schlössern.“ Das Yales-Schloss-System, was vor 150 Jahren von Linus Yale Junior erfunden wurde, befindet sich bis zum heutigen Tag in fast jeder modernen Haustür weltweit!
Das Schloss ist zu 100% funktionsfähig. Das Schloss kommt mitsamt der original Anleitung. Sie wurde laminiert und von Rainer Popp signiert. Es wurde kürzlich von mir komplett getestet und am 06.12.2022 zum allerersten Mal in seinem 5 jährigem Schloss-Leben geöffnet, es wurde vorher noch nie damit gespielt! Wie jedes Schloss, das 5 Jahre nur in der Vitrine zur Dekoration stand, könnte es, nach meiner persönlichen Meinung, einen Tropfen Öl gebrauchen, aber das überlasse ich dem Sieger selber, da ja jeder einen anderen Geschmack hat. Konkret geht der Schritt #11 nur sehr widerwillig, da wäre etwas Öl angebracht.
Auf den Fotos seht ihr, dass es unten rechts auf der Vorderseite eine Macke hat.
Das Schloss ist leider vor 2 Wochen einmal hinuntergefallen und trotz Verpackung
wurde eine Ecke leicht verformt. Aber keine Sorge, wie schon erwähnt, es ist
voll durchgecheckt und der Sturz hat keinerlei Einfluss auf den Mechanismus, es ist nur eine optische Angelegenheit. Grundsätzlich ist das Schloss in einem sehr guten Zustand! Sicherlich findet man hier und da mal einen kleinen leichten Kratzer, aber nichts was man nicht wegpolieren könnte, wenn man möchte. Nicht jeder will ja seine Schlösser polieren und lässt sie halt einfach mit der Zeit anlaufen, es gibt auch viele die diese Art der Patina mögen.
Für die die das Schloss, nach der Auktion, lieber in alter Schönheit und ohne Macke in ihrer Sammlung haben wollen, habe ich mich auch schonmal erkundigt in der Puzzle und Metallverarbeitungs-Welt und mir zu der Bearbeitung der Ecke ein paar Meinungen eingeholt.
2 Vorschläge für euch gibt es zu der Aufarbeitung des Sturzschadens
1. die beschädigte Ecke abschleifen und polieren
2. etwas Messing anlöten und dann abschleifen und polieren
Viel Spaß beim bieten und viel Spaß mit dem Schloss. Ich werde das Schloss vermissen, bin aber sehr froh, wenn es ein schönes neues Puzzle-Zuhause findet!
