Takeyuki Endou has been designing
devilishly intricate and complex puzzles out of Japan for over twenty
years. Play 2 Cube 11 is one of his early cube assembly puzzles. I
purchased this puzzle at the 21st International Puzzle Party (IPP21),
held in Tokyo in 2001. Note that this is NOT an exchange puzzle. The
goal of the puzzle is to form a paneled cube (almost complete in photo
1) from the eight pieces. Some of the moves are quite tricky. The
puzzle is as received at IPP21, in its original plastic bag with
original instruction sheet (photo 3) and sealed solution. |
