Classic packing and non-interlocking assembly puzzles: "Pack it in" by John Conway (famous mathematician who just passed away), "Fifth chair" by Dale Walton, "Missing T" first appearing in an 1898 package of Lash's Bitters company, "Double square" first appearing in a 1934 catalog of Johnson Smith company.
These were part of Thinkfun's old series which was discontinued. Paradoxically perfect for both yourself and your kids.
