Osho’s Packing Puzzle was the exchange puzzle of Rikishi Yamada at IPP25 in Finland, 2005.
The tray packing puzzle has 3 (or actually 7) challenges:
1) Pack the 8 pieces in the tray so that it is “anti-slide”, i.e. none of the pieces can slide.
2) Pack the 8 pieces in the tray so that it is “not-color match”, i.e. no two pieces of the same color touch each other.
3) Pack the 8 pieces in the tray so that the 5 exposed squares are the same color: pink, green, grey, yellow or blue.
The pieces are made of 3 nicely contrasting woods. The fit is loose, which simplifies taking a piece out of the tray.
The puzzle comes in its original zip lock bag with instruction sheet (see picture 2).
