Description

This "impossible" object is 3D printed in bronze steel by Shapeways and polished.  It is a mobius band which is tied in a knot.  If you trace a face (or edge) around, you will discover it has only one face and one edge.  Since the band is not even approximately 2-dimensional, technically it is not a mobius strip, but rather a "quarter-twisted square torus".

Comes with a 20" cord for hanging as a pendant.  Shapeways page <a href="http://shpws.me/HGvk">here</a>.

Has an antique, tarnished look with visible print lines, a hint to its 3D printed origin.  I have not printed one of these out of cast brass -- it would be over $50.
