Description

Oh what a lovely piece this is! I bought this one after hearing so many glowing reviews and was fortunate enough to get it direct from Karakuri Group. The finish on the wood is sublime, the fit is what we all come to expect from KCG. It is simply stunning in person and such a treat to hold in your hands. It is also much larger than I expected! Which makes it even cooler. You can see the measurements below.

I like that it comes with a display stand attached in a nice darker wood that makes it a wonderful display piece. I believe this is a unique puzzle from Karakuri as it has Sequential Discovery elements to it. And of course we all know that Kasho does super cute animal forms, and this one is great.

There was one particular step that gave me such a surprise and the moment I realised what had happened, I threw my head back laughing haha! It was pure joy.

Anyway, enough gushing about it, I am selling simply because I have other puzzles I'd like to buy. So I'm hoping this will go to another home where it will be appreciated. I have solved A Horse with Warrior twice, and then it has been kept in sealed plastic, at correct humidity and in it's box safe from light since it arrived.

It comes with all original packaging that you see here, karakuri card, and solution papers (still unopened). I have marked it below as 'Collector' grade, but this is only because it has been opened and solved. The puzzle is PRISTINE in original condition.

This work was produced for an exhibition on the theme of "Ancient Times."
This work is based on the story of the Trojan horse.
Some warriors hid in the big wooden horse in this story.
A warrior is hidden in this work as well. Its figure might be visible from the window when the drawer is being opened.
There are two storage spaces in this work, but both are empty.
Can you find the room where the warrior is hiding?
The beautiful small warrior was carved to precision by craftsman Kobo Alp.
