Kagen Sound (as Schaefer) - Ebony Maze Burr (2006)
the next incarnation of Kagen's Rune Box, but built on a burr frame instead of a static one. panels can be rearranged into different solutions. comes with assembly diagram and ten configuration cards.
each side has an outer panel that moves two-dimensionally and an inner panel that moves one-dimensionally — essentially a restricted 3x3 maze...or maybe a 3x3x2 maze. which makes the entire box, what? two overlapping restricted 3x3x3x2 mazes? (i'm sure i'm making a mess of this. if anyone knows the matrix or group theory representation, let me know. i'm just curious.)
