Description

Japanese cigarette case/puzzle box. Object, open the drawer. This can only marginally be called a puzzle; there is one fairly obvious move, and then the cigarette drawer opens. The drawer is a little sticky and requires a bit of wiggling to open. There is a split in the panel on one side which should be visible in the photos. What I like the most about this is the unique artwork on the box.

SPOILER: I'm not completely certain about how it functions; a panel slides about 1/4" one way and the drawer opens. Then the panel is capable of sliding about 1" the opposite direction, but for no apparent reason that I can see. In this position, the drawer will not close. It's a mystery to me.
