Jailbreak by Doug Haigh, produced by Bits & Pieces
Doug Haigh’s recreation, I believe from Hoffmann’s classic book. Object is to free the ball bearing.
I’ve sold a few of these older, discontinued metal Bits and Pieces take apart or sequential discovery puzzles. Jailbreak is another one that I liked from this set. I enjoyed it more than "Beehive" but less than the "Cannon" or "Lighthouse" puzzles. It’s also a nice metal puzzle for display, and it was fun to experience this “classic” puzzle.
This old puzzle is in great condition. There is some very light wear from use but the brass body is still shiny and smooth. Comes with its original box and solution sheet, although the box shows some wear.

Buyer is responsible for shipping which should be less than $10 (within USA, first-class). Priority mail (and heavier puzzles) might be $2 to $5 more. I charge only exact shipping costs. Please contact me if you need an estimate for international shipping. If you wish to estimate shipping costs yourself, most of my listed puzzles shouldn't weigh more than 16 ounces (450 grams), and the smaller puzzles should be much less than that. I will combine multiple items for cheaper shipping--I have listed a few puzzle boxes, metal Bits & Pieces puzzles, 2D and 3D packing, and a couple of nice pieces from WoodWonders.
I can accept payments via Paypal, Zelle, or Transferwise. There will be no additional packaging or handling fees.
I try to grade condition conservatively. If the puzzle shows any sign of wear from use, it'll be a B or lower. If the puzzle looks like it did when I received it new (barring any defects), it will be graded A. Where useful, I've tried to take photos of the puzzles under different lighting conditions. All puzzles are kept in a smoke-free home maintained at 45-55% humidity.
