"HOW?BOX DARK
by Peter Hajek
Woodwork: Jakub Dvorak and Pelikan team; lock: Ivo Splichal; key: Jiri Mejtsky.
This puzzle measures 185 x 160 x 110 mm with the legs. Weight is 1,2 kg.
Material: the dark boxes are made of palisander, light oak and wenge.
Only 15 puzzles of this kind was made in a dark color.
Peter Hajek wrote about it:

This box is in near perfect condition though there are a couple of teeny/tiny cosmetic flaws that I mention for completeness. There is some light green marking (verdigris/tarnish)on the key where the leather strap has been wound around it. Additionally a splinter of wood (perhaps about 10mm by 1mm) has broken from the edge one of the internal blocks in the puzzle. This splinter is completely invisible on the unopened box as it is on an internal mechanism piece and has zero impact on the opening method. I have not included a picture as it could/will give a spoiler. Finally, the box comes with the original paperwork, the glue on the "sealed" solution envelope has long since deteriorated so it is no long sealed. If anyone does want a picture of the missing splinter please contact me directly but given the rarity of this item I expect it to have no material impact on the selling price :)
I am selling this box to raise funds for other projects. The box is rare, sought after and virtually impossible to find. Given the nature of the collaboration required to make the box and the components within it I think it unlikely it will ever be made again. Therefore I hope and expect this to sell for a good price. However, I've no idea what that price will/should be as I have never seen one of these come up in an auction, so I have listed at $0.01 no reserve. Please bid generously on this rare SD box! The standard puzzle hamster is going to miss this box as it fits perfectly within the box when placed diagonally.
Shipping price will be confirmed after end of auction, the price could be quite variable based on insurance options. If it sells for (roughly) what I paid for it new the price to send to the US from the UK would be around 20-25 GBP. Any shipping will be at cost (no mark up) and will be agreed with the buyer at the end of the auction.
