This puzzle was the 2018 Turner Christmas Puzzle (although it was produced in 2020) with about 150 made. Some went to family and friends. 100 were made for the puzzle community. This puzzle was a Jury Honorable Mention in the 2020 IPP Puzzle Design Competition.
This is one of three special boxes. I thought they would be fun to make, but could not decide who should receive them, so they are being made available to the community. While the original boxes include maple, cherry, and walnut reptiles, each of these boxes contain all the same reptiles, either maple, cherry, or walnut. The box was made of maple with a contrasting lid inlay.
Each box was tested (again) to verify it operates properly. This puzzle includes the challenge card, the warning note, and the solution pamphlet.
