Description
"The Famous Fifteen Puzzle," No. 77, made in England. This vintage, cardboard sliding block puzzle, from around 1950 (maybe you can date it better from the clothing the boy is wearing in the illustration) "has beaten scientists of all nations....It seems so easy and so simple that any child can do it, yet it bewilders a room full of clever people who tackle it in consultation."
Size = approx. 3.5" x 3.5".
Instructions are missing. Box reads, "Illustrated Catalog Enclosed," but there is no catalog with this set.
Payment: Payment can be made by Paypal or by check in U.S. dollars, or by Paypal in euro, or by euro through direct transfer of funds into my German bank account at the equivalent of US $1 = 0,80 euro.
Important Shipping Note: I will be preparing for and attending the Essen Spieletage (German game fair) immediately after the auction. I can bring your items won to Essen and save you the shipping cost, but I will not be able to advise on shipping costs or mail items until after the 28th of October! Remember, all items will be shipped from Germany.
