Description

"Esponja de Binimelis" is a mathematics-themed put-together puzzle, exchanged at IPP 23 in Chicago by Spanish teacher Albert Violant i Holz. The puzzle consists of twenty wooden cubes with various arrangements of pins and holes which must be put together (by joining pins and holes) to form the first iteration of the Menger sponge, a 3x3x3 cube with the center of each face, and the center of the cube, removed. However, there is a stipulation that the pins must all wind up on the interior of the sponge.

The puzzle is in it's original cardboard box, complete with original label and instructions and solution sheet, as presented at IPP23.

I will ship within the US at insured priority mail pricing (from between $8.70 and $9.45, depending on postal code). I am happy to ship internationally at cost, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas packages can be insured or tracked.
