This puzzle is a exchange puzzle by Naoaki Takashima for the International Puzzle Party 25 held in Helsinki, Finland 2005
Goal and the story of the puzzle:
Quite recently, almost the end of this May [2005], Mr. Mitsuhiro Odawara hit upon the idea of a put-together puzzle with pieces combining “a half cube prism” and “a half cube tile” shown in the figures below.
Then, he found it is a very nice puzzle after his evaluation with his hand-made set of puzzle pieces. And, he agreed with my offer to use it as my Edward Hordern Exchange Puzzle at IPP25. This exchange puzzle is pilot version of the puzzle hand-made by Mr. Odawara himself. He has a plan to put it on the market in Japan after IPP25 by the name of
“Caramel-Cheese Puzzle”.
