From the research I’ve done I learned that this puzzle was giving as a gift at the IPP 35 convention in Ottawa Canada. I purchased it here on the marketplace in a large lot of IPP exchange puzzles. I believe it to be the 2nd freight car in a series of many that were exchanged over several years. This one has the writing on the top ( although faded ) stating that it was from IPP 35 in Ottawa Canada. It was designed by Bill Cutler and the pieces were designed by Henry Strout. The goal is to figure out how to open the box and then retrieve the pieces. Mix them up. Then pack them back in. It’s a cool puzzle with a rustic feel. The wheels are functional. And it’s in great shape. I’m sure theirs plenty more research to be done. And that can add to the fun.
