Description
Two packing puzzles in one by the great Japanese puzzle designer Iwahiro (Hirokazo Iwasawa). This was Iwahiro's exchange puzzle at IPP32, held in Washington DC in 2012. The first goal is to pack the 10 cubes in the accompanying box so that no piece can slide in any direction; the second goal is to pack 8 cubes in the box so that no piece can slide in any direction. The cubes are made from beautiful walnut, and the box is made from MDF.
I will provide a copy of the solution from the IPP32 exchange booklet for the winning bidder.
