Description

Chess Cubes was Peter Hajeks exchange puzzle at IPP 19 in London, 1999.

The fancy black&white box contains two cubes, one white and one brown plastic. Each cube is a 3x3x3 assembly of a full set of chess pieces, which partially interlock to form a cube. To complete the cube, one single voxel piece is added.

3 puzzle challenges are described on the informatin sheet, as shown in a picture. Besides being part of an interesting assembly puzzle , the pieces can also be used to play an actual chess game.
