Description

The puzzle is a set similar to the Penultimate Burr with multiple problems to be solved. The set consists of a 4x4x4 cage with a 2x2 opening on each face and 14 non-planar penta/tetracubes. The objective is to fill the cage with four of the pentacubes and three tetracubes to complete a 4x4 cube. A jig is provided for testing possible solutions outside the cage, as well as a box which doubles as a display plinth for the solved puzzle. This is a difficult puzzle, with two assemblies having a unique sixteen move solution!

This copy features Canxan Pieces and a Curly Maple jig, which are different from our production copies. We have two additional oddball copies to post at a future event.

These puzzles are extras and oddballs that have accumulated in the shop. Sometimes when we make a run of puzzles we will have a few with different woods, etc. which are too much trouble to list individually on the website. These puzzles are all in new condition and fully functional.
