Description

The earthenware "Bird on Barrel Puzzle Jug," Amorim, was Portuguese puzzle collector Carlos Oliveira's gift in the puzzle exchange at the 19th International Puzzle Party (IPP19) held in London in 1999. The jug has no lid and no obvious opening to fill it. Trying to pour water from it the usual way will make a mess. The goal is to figure out how to fill the jug with water, and then how to drink the water without spilling it.

Amorim comes as received at IPP19 with its original instruction sheet in its original cardboard box. I will provide a copy of the solution to Amorim from the IPP19 exchange booklet.

I will ship within the US at insured priority mail pricing (from between $8.70 and 11.60, depending on postal code). I am happy to ship internationally at cost, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas packages can be insured or tracked.
