Three Crested Puzzle Jugs (Lot 4of 4)
Three copies of crested souvenir puzzles jugs all likely to have been made between late 19th C and early 1920's each with a city crest. SPH had this to say about them :
"Each of these jugs weighs about 0.5 SPH and have been based on an early puzzle jug held in Kensington. These are souvenirs from Bristol, Edinburgh and Halifax. There is literally nothing funny about any of those places. Except perhaps Bristol - see other listings for details."
The standardised puzzle Hamster is not included in this auction but is included for scale. A standardised hamster has a length of 160mm, height of 76mm, and weight of 64g.
I am selling these puzzles to raise funds for DCD. Hoping to make enough to attend, buy puzzles and drink beer. Mostly the latter two. I am starting everything at low prices, irrespective of market value, so please bid generously.
