Object is to separate key and nut. This design was an entry into the 2005 IPP design contest.

Due to the unusual nature of this puzzle, I will ship it in its solved state. When I first purchased it, the seller tried to ship it in a locked state but it became unlocked during shipping; the same happened when I shipped it to someone else on a loan. This is the 2nd version of the Byway Secret series. There are 2 spaces inside, and you'll be able to open the 1st space easily. But, it takes 10 moves to open the 2nd space, and you'll miss your way to open. The right side and the reverse side will intertwine and move each other. It was made with a new mechanism that is an application of traditional Himitsubako's bar device.

One of the original Creative secret boxes from Karakuri Creation Club.CS-8There are 2 "Kannuki (bar)" like usual Secret Box. Therefore it's easy to move them. But, the next movement is different from usual ones. You will feel that the plates are a little loose, but you can't slide them.

The mechanism of the Ohawa type Secret Box was applied. When you opened the mechanisms on surface, the appearance of the lid is interesting.
