This is a combination sliding piece and hidden object puzzle. Place the 8 dominoes from the bottom into the space at the top by replacing the 7 dominoes at the top.This puzzle narrowly escaped destruction in the great Colorado flood of 2013!

This was Dave Rossetti's IPP28 exchange gift, in Prague, 2008. His accompanying sheet says, "Snakes in a Plane is based on the Rush Hour concept by Nob Yoshigahara. By using spiral pieces, Oskar made cheating impossible. Aubrey developed a special challenge that takes as many moves to solve as to reset... Production was done as a combination of 3D-printing and laser-cutting." He describes this as a Sliding Piece Puzzle.

Open Window, exchange puzzle for IPP32, designed by Tom Jolly, mfg Tim and Carol Udall. Four sliding pieces in a frame (well...three after you pop out the key piece) with a slightly tricky solution. Harder to reassemble, especially if you didn't see it taken apart. There was another version of this with a closed back, but I only made 2 of them. This one, both sides are open.
