A two layer sliding puzzle

A nice sliding puzzle. You have to slide the pieces so you can see a cross

Looks like a standard sliding puzzle but it is not. The puzzle is ideal for sliding beginners (40 moves) but also very interesting for experienced sliding puzzlers

This is a 3 piece burr of level 8. This burr is newly made from left over parts, recently lacquered, waxed and buffed. For more details see attached instructions.

Arungo, from Little Harbor. It's a ring-maze, a bit like the "Cast Bicycle", but much, much bigger. The maze is set on a flat wooden base, but can be removed from the base for solving it (it isn't glued together, and the base does not appear to be part of the maze). The box is 12"x8.5"x3.5", and the puzzle not much smaller than that. Weight is 1 lb 4 oz without any packing. Made in Maine, USA, probably around the 1990's.
