Most are familiar with the greedy cup, but this is the first time I have seen one made from wood. Like all greedy cups, if you fill it with water it is fine up to a certain point. But if you get greedy, and keep filling, the entire cup will suddenly drain out of the bottom! Very fun on unsuspecting victims. Greedy Cup (wood). Fill beyond a certain point, and it suddenly drains itself out the bottom. An IPP29 exchange puzzle from Naoaki Takashima, designed and made by Nagaoka Gear Mfg Co.

This puzzle jug is in the form of a bear with bamboo handle and spout. It says "RUTLADER" on the bottom. I've had it for several years, but age is unknown (probably fairly modern). No chips or cracks, item is still as fired but for a little dust.

I believe this to be antique and Italian as it says "BEVETE SE POTETE" which according to Babel Fish is Italian for "Drink if you can". It has a bit of flaking of glaze around the bottom rim and spout, otherwise in very fine condition, no chips or cracks. The traditional hole under the handle is very well hidden by the green glaze of a painted leaf. The glaze is hand-painted. The makers mark stamped into the bottom has the initials "JGL" with a number "1" stamped beneath.
