Flat Vortex
Brian's Description: The popularity of the 4C Vortex that I produced a few months ago, led me to this gem. The Flat Vortex is a simpler version of that design without as many rotations. Four pieces have to be removed from the frame. It’s still quite a challenge though. I had one customer contact me who said that they don’t actually come out, they can only be rearranged! After I stopped laughing, I sent him the solution.

Magiq #8
Jerry's Description: The goal is to re-arrange the 5 pieces and change the #8 to a #0. Saying "abracadabra" would certainly help!Although this year's design bears some resemblance to my entry at last year's IPP competition, the #69, the Magiq#8 is totally different in terms of the solve. My design was expertly crafted by Tom Lensch and consists of exotic woods comprising walnut, holly, shedua and yellowheart. Construction, fit and finish is excellent and I particularly liked the perimeter trim ...

Packing Box (mini) ⅡI
This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2009.This is part of the series of "Packing Box". The last work was a square shape but this work is a rectangular shape. It's easy to open, but watch out for the two 'dummies'. Are they the craftsman's joke??Includes original box. No answer card was included but a sheet was published later.

Broken Sticks
Six piece typical diagonal burr creating a beautiful shape. Well known Stewart Coffin design but simplified because of the colour symmetry.I made a handful of these for friends and family over the Fall and had this one left over. Great for someone who wants an inexpensive copy of a great puzzle just to actually play with. The pieces are not perfect like a Lee Krasnow or a Peterson work, so you can get some hints as some fit slightly better in certain orientations but the errors are very small so...

Broken Sticks
I made a handful of these for friends and family over the Fall and had this one left over. Great for someone who wants an inexpensive copy of a great puzzle just to actually play with. The pieces are not perfect like a Lee Krasnow or a Peterson work, it is a bit on the loose side but still a great puzzle.Next Summer I hope to tackle Jupiter. Overall it displays beautifully.
