Small Button Box
As per Mr. Fuller:This design was inspired by the interior of the previous box I made, the Reactor Box. It made me think about the things I could do with an apparently simple box that just had a button to push. I like to take advantage of people's assumptions, and everyone has them when it comes to a button! So I set about thinking up designs...I came up with a lot of ideas. Therefore, this w...

Gobi
From cubicdissection.com:Recently there have been a spate of 18 piece designs using 2x3 stick size. All of them were interesting, and I definitely wanted to make a representative puzzle from this style. It was difficult for me to pick one, but in the end the uniqueness of camel and rider locked inside the puzzle caught my eye. Goetz Schwandtner made himself a personal copy of this design and was kind enough to let me use this review he posted on his blog :This burr leads us out of the zoo on an ...

Another Binary Drawer - RF35
from Karakuri website:The “binary” is used by different way until now. This way may be more primitive usage. Unlock the drawers by moving the bars. To see the number of 3 and 8 did you get a hint? Each bar means each place of binary. When a bar is opened, it means 1, and a bar is closed, it means 0. Each drawer means 0, 1, 2, ….and 7. “Move up of digit” is expressed more exactly. Similar mechanism will be possible at trinary and others. But, more than at least 18 drawers must be made i...

Cold Fusion
From cubic dissection.com:If you liked solving two six piece burrs at the same time, how about four! With a very difficult level 18.6.8 solution, Cold Fusion steps it up a notch from the already difficult Fusion puzzle. Three different woods used for aesthetics and also to give the solver a chance (this puzzle would be exponentially more difficult in solid wood). This puzzle and its easier predecessor kind of started my recent series of complex burrs in three woods. I was able to aquire a large ...

Bundle Of Sticks
From cubicdissection.com:Another brilliant Jolly design. Bundle of Sticks is very non-traditional in appearance, and a lot of fun to solve. One stick comes out easily enough. The other three create a set of gates which must be maneuvered before the puzzle can be filly disassembled into its five pieces. The solution is a unique level 1.13.6! Once solved, this puzzle displays very nicely given the extraordinary contrast between the lightest wood available and one of the darkest. This puzzle is ver...
