Change puzzle, design by Yamamoto Hiroshi, you take the pieces in the tray (each made of black and white components) and arrange them so as to make the various pictures shown in the instructions. Harder than I expected. Weighs 8.5 oz.

Yeah, everyone needs a few of these in their collection. Philosopher's Knot; not sure about the manufacturer, might be Futuristix. About 20-30 years old. No box, no instructions, take it apart and put it back together.

My IPP32 exchange puzzle. Pack the 13 L-shaped pieces into the frames on either side. The pieces can also be packed into a 4x4x4 cube and other 3D shapes. Puzzle includes an 8 page booklet of challenges. Comes in a clear plastic box, you can store the puzzle in the solved or unsolved state.The pieces are 9mm thick, this puzzle is fairly heavy for an acrylic puzzle, as I recall 100 of these puzzles weighed 33 pounds or 15 kilos.

This was Wei-Hwa Huang's IPP28 exchange puzzle. The aim is to match up five pairs among the ten pieces (two are shown in the photo) so all the pieces can nest in the cylindrical container.
