This puzzle uses 5 fat "Logs" and 5 thin "Sticks", some joined so there are 7 pieces total. John Devost has added decorative ends and a spiral groove to the logs to create a unique look for this puzzle. The sticks are not glued in place, but held with what appear to be brass pins. Disassembly is easy, assembly is the tricky part, although I think this is one of the easiest of Coffin's "Log's and Sticks" type puzzles.

My IPP32 exchange puzzle. Pack the 13 L-shaped pieces into the frames on either side. The pieces can also be packed into a 4x4x4 cube and other 3D shapes. Puzzle includes an 8 page booklet of challenges. Comes in a clear plastic box, you can store the puzzle in the solved or unsolved state.This puzzle weighs approximately 4 oz or 120 grams.

Seven pieces fit into four trays. The main tray is double sided. The pieces are cleverly supplied with knobs, which make them easier to grab and also prevent you from turning them over. Includes instructions. This puzzle was constructed without using any glue, another clever detail.

Use the four pieces to make a symmetric shape. I found this to be very challenging. IPP32 exchange puzzle.

27 piece Walnut 3D jigsaw over 20 years old. Comes with plastic case but the bottom is missing. This was made by a small UK puzzle company called Trench Enterprises. It was run by Kevin Holmes who made a range of wooden puzzles. Kevin Holmes is unfortunately no longer alive, and his company has closed.

Constructed this time with three nicely contrasting hardwoods, and holly splines as a nod toward the 2005 edition. I have to say I'm very happy indeed with how these turned out.
