A simple box with 4 seemingly easy obstructions uniformly spaced around the interior and 4 rather straight forward pieces. I also had acquired a nice piece of spalted beech that I wanted to be able to use on a box to show off the grain and spalting. A few of the spalted beech pieces required a small amount of filling in some softer areas...

This is a "rap" puzzle; it has a magnet. The round peg in the square stick rotates. The round peg comes out if you solve it.  I don't know the actual name (but it's shaped like an F), but I think I might have bought it from Constantin about 20 years ago in Essen.

Slide Packing, by Hajimi Katsumoto, from MINE, in this packing puzzle, you have a sliding top with a cavity that can hole one of the four pieces, or part of one. There are four penta-pieces you have to fit inside, and close the lid. Very nicely made.
