The Barbed Hook Burr.This puzzle was derived from a classic joint in Japanese wood construction, called "Double faced halved rabbeted oblique scarf splice with key".It has a unique level 11 solution, and burrtools will not help you out!

Described in Stewart Coffin's book The Puzzling World of Polyhedral Dissections; here is some of what he says in the directions that came with the puzzle:"Special version - only one made. No half-pieces, so ignore puzzle problems that require half-pieces. The cube has only one solution in which all sides have matched wood and grain symmetry."
