CHAIR CUBE v2.3 - Jack Krijnen
Beautiful three piece cube puzzle called 'CHAIR' because of the ladies that designed the first version. From there Jack took it upon himself to bring this to a bigger audience. I had great fun playing with this version as well as version 1.4 (see other listing). Version 1.4 in my opinion is the easier one but has the advantage that all hinges are hidden.Version 2.3 is a little bit harder but has visible hinges. For full details on the design en making of these puzzles have a look at CFF #110!Not ...

Oskar's Matchboxes Padauk/ Yellowheart by Oskar van Deventer (2)
Oskar's Matchboxes has always been one of my favorite designs. In terms of originality, appearance and overall appeal, very few puzzles come close. The five dissimilar pieces consist of an outer box and inner tray cleverly glued together. The goal is to assemble the pieces so that every tray is contained inside a box. With only two solutions, this is quite tricky!Oskar’s Matchboxes is a very time-consuming puzzle to make, with all pieces constructed using the same shoulder joinery that we used...

Fidget Burr by Tim Alkema (RPP)
Fidget burr was an easy decision to make. A seemingly simple 3x3 cube, it's actually a five-piece interlocking burr with a level 12 solution. Three burr pieces nest inside two identical frame pieces. Disassembly of this puzzle is VERY tricky, with many false paths and dead ends. Fidget Burr is a ton of fun and it turned out very well. This puzzle is shipped assembled. For multiple items, combined shipping is available. Simply message me once you are finished bidding and I will send an invoice.**...

Oskar's Paperclips Sapwood by Oskar van Deventer (1)
Another classic by Oskar van Deventer, the Paperclips puzzle is rarely made, and for good reason. The length of the sticks and small surface area for overlap at the edges makes it very difficult to construct. Each corner is reinforced by a shoulder joint, then sanded flush and further reinforced with a full length spline. This is a very time consuming process, but is the only way to ensure the strength and rigidity necessary for this work of art.The result is worth the effort. With two possible ...

Kaon by Duane Einfeld (RPP)
I hadn't heard from Duane in quite some time, but he mailed me this little gem of a puzzle and I had to make it. Kaon is a six-piece burr which features three pairs of pieces with mirrored cubes inside which restrict their position. It has two solutions, each with different assembly methodologies. A very simple, elegant design and exactly the kind I like to make.Construction of this puzzle is very very good, with an extremely accurate fit. The finish is exceptional. I'm very happy with how this ...

IPP Burr
Eric says "IPP Burr was my IPP exchange puzzle this year. A standard
six piece burr, with three extra pieces which must fit inside the six
piece burr once solved. The inside pieces of course spell "IPP"! With a
five move final solution, it's quite tricky but nonetheless approachable
for the experienced solver.
Construction of this puzzle is excellent, with a nice precise fit. We
used laminated sticks to make the burr pieces which was time consuming
but turned out very well."

Cube Sixteen Canary Sapwood by Stewart Coffin (3)
Cube Sixteen is one of Coffin's more obscure designs but is nonetheless a delightful puzzle. Five unique pieces serially interlock with one possible solution. Crafted of some of the nicest canarywood and rosewood I've found in a while, it displays well with a lovely symmetrical appearance. This copy is made from Canary Sapwood, and is shipped assembled. These puzzles are extras and oddballs that have accumulated in the...

Logical Progression Walnut by Rick Eason (RPP)
Rick sent me this design a while ago and initially, I wasn't going to make it...all those holes are incredibly time-consuming to drill. He stepped in and helped with the drilling, so this is a true collaborative effort between designer and producer.Logical Progression is a very unique cube. With only one solution which must be accomplished with serial assembly, it seems at first look that this puzzle will be a trial and error nightmare. However, the puzzle is designed such that scrutiny of the p...

Penultimate Burr Box Set
From Eric's description: "The penultimate burr set is something I've wanted to make for a very long time...This set of 27 numbered pieces combines to make hundreds of puzzles, from fairly simple solid assemblies to extremely difficult higher-level assemblies. Never before offered in six unit length, a new analysis of the set was performed by Ken Irvine and revealed many problems which were unachievable with the traditional eight unit length pieces. The box itself is quite special--the lid lifts ...
