Ginda Fisher exchange puzzle to make an 8-pointed star

This is a very cool burr puzzle from Stephan, a part of his Excaliburr series. Metal shields aid in movements to free all the pieces.  Excellent condition puzzleMoves: 21.11.4.33.5% handling fee will be added to winning bid.  

Open Cube designed by Marc van Kreveld and Theo Geerinck, made by Pelikan about 2007. The fit is slightly loose; the variety of woods, the large size and thin pieces means that the fit is not perfect after 13 years, but it has still aged fairly well and displays well. See photos for detail; there are some narrow gaps between pieces.Shipping weight with packaging is 1 lb 11 oz.
