Another early Eric Fuller work. This is harder to put together than to take apart. The puzzle has not been taken apart. The woods used were very high quality. All of these early Fuller puzzles were made with just one or two copies for trades that Eric and I did, and were not made for sale.

Eric made versions of very difficult burrs out of very nice woods. These were made in late 2002 on his kitchen table using a hand saw and chistle. These were never used.

This design is a variation of Triumph where two pairs of pieces are fused, making it a much more difficult four-piece puzzle. All four symmetrical solutions are still possible. The puzzle is made of Koa wood and although only 4 pieces it is a really difficult puzzle to solve in the correct orientation. This is a wooden version by pentangle about 3" dimension (horizontally). interesting interlocking puzzle.It is not the simple Burr that sometimes is seen, and surprisingly difficult to assemble. I could say more, but do notwant to give it away!
