Boron is not necessarily trivial but also not mind-bendingly difficult. The four inch size has a nice heft, weighing in at a full one lb. weight. This is a great gift for someone you want to encourage spatial abilities without them getting too frustrated.Construction is very good, precise but with a tiny bit of extra room to compensate for very dry shop conditions.

Made Brian Menold of Wood Wonder. Beautiful puzzle although some of the cubes have small chips out of the from the sawing process (see pictures of the worst of it). The contrasting woods display nicely.

This is a fantastic design. Two sets of six identical pieces come together for a unique level 9.6 solution...and that's thinking outside the box! The SAME six pieces go together inside the cage with a unique level 12.5 solution. Really an elegant and difficult puzzle, nicely realized with leopardwood and bubinga.
