Screwy Balls Trick Puzzle - Magic
It looks like a standard dexterity puzzle, but it isn't. The object is to get the 3 black balls to one side and the 3 red balls to the other side, which of course is difficult or impossible since the balls from one side will move to the other side when you tilt the puzzle. However. there's a trick in the device. The black balls will stick to one of the two sides, after which you can tilt the puzzle the other way to get the red balls to the other side without the black balls moving. It's magic!I ...

Roll Up
this very attractive puzzle was Simon's exchange and design competition entry for IPP29 in San Francisco...The object is to roll the small ball to the top of the spiral... Easier said than done. More than just a dexterity puzzle, there is an interesting rebus at the base of the puzzle that may help in solving...I'm selling these puzzles because I no longer have space to store or display them :(buyer is responsible for money transfer fees (ie 3.5% for paypal), packing and shipping expenses...

Stellated Stasis- IPP29 exchange puzzle
Not really a "dexterity" puzzle, more of a "balance" puzzle. Designed by Oskar and Wayne Daniel, made by Wayne Daniel. I never solved this. It's an odd little bit of geometry (one piece) that you are supposed to hang off the edge of a table, selecting a side/position where it is certain not to fall off. It says it has 12 possible orientations, but only balances in one of them. "Oskars's original had 24 orientations, only one of which balanced, and was called 'Cliff Hangar'." He designed a later ...

Unknown - old wood dexterity marble puzzle - made in Japan
Four marbles that you have to roll into little indents in the wood, though other grooves in the base interfere with this effort (took me about 2 minutes); nothing too unique here, except that it's old. No name on it, just says "Made in Japan" on the back of the box. Estimate maybe around 1950 for the age. Top cover is plastic, not glass. Overall condition of the puzzle is very good.

Four Dexterity Puzzles, Mfg. by Pussy, Germany
These three plastic puzzles (two are duplicates with different coloring) were from a series of 12 dexterity puzzles made by Pussy in Germany. One of the three has a picture of all 12 puzzles on the back of the puzzle, numbers 2501-2506 and 2224,26,27,29,30 and 2232. Judging by the gaps in the numbering, there may have been more. Anyway, this is only 2 of them (with 1 duplicate), numbers 2227 (2) "Point" and 2505 "Corner". Clear plastic on top is a bit scratched up, hard to see in the photo. The...

Labyrinth (or Labilinth) maze-dexterity cylinder puzzle
Labyrinth, or as it says on the box, Labilinth. This is a cylindrical wooden maze; you put a ball on it (it comes with 4 balls; 2 plastic, 2 steel) and try to maneuver the ball around the outside of the cylinder while rotating the cylinder. It's quite difficult. Basically just a dexterity puzzle, though. Made by Schaaf Spielzeug in Germany, in original box (which is torn on one side).

DoubleSix puzzle - Journet
This dexterity puzzle consists of two dice that you have to get into two square slots in the right orientation. Not too bad; took about 5 minutes to solve. Glass covered, generally good condition but the box has tears on two sides, presumably from the removal of tape. See pix. Made by R. Journet, London, England. Don't know what year, maybe 1950's?

Skidblox
This odd little dexterity puzzle has a hand-made look to it (in fact, the label on the back says, "Hand crafted in Greenwich by Leisure Dimensions" Copyright 1972. The label also shows the object of the puzzle. The wooden frame of the puzzle has a green stain on one edge and a couple of other small white marks on the sides, and is a bit soiled from handling.

Batch of 24 cube-dexterity puzzles
This is a batch of 24 assorted cube-shaped dexterity puzzles. Some duplicates, which I've grouped together in the photo. One cube is scratched up, the rest are in very good condition. One has glitter embedded in the plastic (came that way) to make it more appealing to people who don't like dexterity puzzles. Each cube is 1.5" in size.
