Description
"Quartet Quandary" is a tray-packing puzzle by the prolific puzzle inventor and perennial Puzzle Exchange participant William Waite. It is beautifully laser cut by William himself, and used by William as his exchange puzzle at IPP29 in San Francisco in 2009. The four unusual pieces must all be placed flat in the tray, which obviously has lots of extra space in it, making the puzzle particularly frustrating. And there are two VERY different solutions, so finding both of them adds to the challenge and frustration! THE UNUSUAL SHAPES OF THE PIECES MAKE THIS PUZZLE EXTREMELY CHALLENGING.
The puzzle is as received at IPP29 in 2009; it may have been shrink-wrapped at the time. I will include a copy of the solution from the IPP29 exchange booklet.
I will ship within the US as a first class package for around $5.50, or if preferred, at insured priority mail pricing
(likely from between
$9.75 and $10.40, depending on postal code). I am happy
to ship
internationally at cost, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
packages can be insured or tracked.
