Description
This large, round solid wood puzzle-peg style solitaire board is probably from the 1950s.
The diameter is approx. 11 1/4"; 29 cm. The weight = 25 oz; 700 g.
The instruction sheet is tacked on to the back of the board (see photo); it gives rules for playing with a full compliment of 44 marbles, with 32 marbles, and with 20 marbles. Three rubber feet on the back of the board keep the instruction sheet off the table top.
The name of the puzzle is taken from the name of the company: The Niagara Marble Puzzle Shop, Niagara Falls, NY.
The 40 clay marbles (in various colors) that are included with the game are old marbles but not the originals.
The wood has some scratches.
