Slammed car
Sequential discovery puzzle “slammed car” made by Juno.2019 Puzzle Design Competition “jury grand prize” winner. This is hands down my favorite puzzle that I have ever solved. Juno’s words:This is Juno’s second sequential discovery puzzle that he initially designed to become so. The first one was Sequential Discovery Burred Box though he has also designed several puzzle boxes that have tastes of sequential discovery. This puzzle requires lots of steps, around 15 to 20 depending on ...

Topless Box
RELEASED:11.29.2012PRODUCED:38 CopiesDESIGNER:Eric FullerCRAFTSMAN:Eric FullerMATERIAL:Striped Quartersawn Sapele / Quilted Maple / PaduakCOMMENTS:Several years ago Robert Yarger and I threw around the idea of collaborating on a massive project. We both were interested in making a complex Apothecary style box with many drawers and a sequential discovery style solution. He threw out a crazy idea - why don't we get a bunch of other puzzlemakers to chip in, and have each drawer unique? Having been ...

205 Minutes by Aleksandr Leontev (RPP)
Leontev's 205 Minutes is a masterpiece in both design and construction. So named because if you make one correct move per second, non stop, it will take you 205 minutes to disassemble. This n-ary juggernaut requires over 12 thousand moves to disassemble. Once disassembled, a reset mechanism allows you to quickly bring it to the original state with only four moves. It also comes with the 136 minute piece which only requires around 8,000 moves to solve. It was a difficult decision to make this puzz...

Surprising Drawer (CO-12-2)
This work is one of the 12th Karakuri Box Idea Contest winners. The solving mechanism and the result it produces once it comes open is surprising to say the least, shocking almost. And closing it again afterwards takes a bit of thought as the solution seems, in more ways than one, to be physically impossible at first glance. Keyaki(zelkova), Magnolia, Wenge.

Beaulid Box by Joel Freedman and Eric Fuller
My latest box is the only box design I have collaborated on since the Stickman #4 with Robert Yarger, nearly five years ago. Generally I like to design my own boxes, but when Joel sent this design in for the Coffin Puzzlecraft Competition, I knew it was too good an idea to pass up. We worked together to make the solution a bit more difficult, and the result is something special. To my knowledge no other puzzle box uses the mechanism nor solving methodology that the Beaulid does. These puzzles are...

Stickman 2011 Christmas Puzzle (Pipe Box)
Stickman 2011 Christmas Present Puzzles were never publically sold, but rather given out to a few friends and family as presents. A couple of collectors managed to talk me out of my spares, so this is my last and only copy of this particular design, and I shall not make any more. This puzzle is not overly complex, and only requires 4-5 steps to solve, but it does use a unique concept to start, and opens along “seems that seem unseemly”.
The fit and finish on this puzzle is not as fine ...

Heart case
Description from Pluredro :We have released Diamond Case and Club Case in the past and this is the third one of the trump card series puzzle boxes. We presume that Heart Case is easier than the previous two puzzles, yet it requires several unusual steps to solve. Like most of Juno’s former designed puzzle boxes, bashing, tapping and centrifugal forces are not necessary to open it. Heart Case is also categorized as a sequential discovery puzzle because there are some tools used to open the box....

Stickman No. 3 Puzzlebox
All Stickman No. 3 puzzles were a bit on the rough side, but this one is perhaps a bit rougher than most. All mechanical parts do work, but at several places have to be helped along the way. It easily comes apart with a screwdriver, so perhaps someone with a bit of woodworking skill, and piece of sandpaper, and a few hours of spare time could address the sticky spots. But for the moment, it currently falls below the noramal operation of most puzzles from this series, in that some moves stick ...
