Siamese Burrs II is a delightful mashup of two traditional burrs. The level 12.4 solution has dead ends and subtlty. Were it made from a single wood, this would be an astonishingly difficult puzzle. Looks like a regular 18-piece burr but there is a twist. Bill describes it on his web site:-The original design of The Slider was done in the early 1960's. The puzzle looks like a standard 18-piece burr (which I had not seen before at the time I designed it). Another early Eric Fuller work. This is harder to put together than to take apart. The puzzle has not been taken apart. The woods used were very high quality. All of these early Fuller puzzles were made with just one or two copies for trades that Eric and I did, and were not made for sale.
