This Japanese puzzle box was made by the deceased master Okiyama. It comes with the instructions and original box. It is in excellent condition.

This is a wooden version by pentangle about 3" dimension (horizontally). interesting interlocking puzzle.It is not the simple Burr that sometimes is seen, and surprisingly difficult to assemble. I could say more, but do notwant to give it away!

This is a well made version from plastic of a Bill Cutler design, about 5" by 5" by 2" , made by Ishi.The puzzle, looks simple from the top, but is extremely difficult to do (surprisingly). I did it once;it took me about 1/2 a day, and I haven't taken it apart since.

This box is from a group of made by the late Mr Okiyama. It has his honko as verification he made this box and is one of the smallest boxes made by this Master Craftsman. These puzzle box was made by occasional craftsman Stephen Chin (entered australian IPP). This puzzle box is well made with very nice woods. These are two puzzle eggs. One opens with an unscrewing motion (wooden groves!) The other opens similarly to the Kamei egg, but with Stephen's own twist... There are VERY FEW pieces of his work, probably less than 10 in total.

This Kamei puzzle box has a clever little solution which evaded me for a while. I believe it was made 4 or 5 years ago. It is in excellent condition and works well.

This is a very rare version of the very special boxes Mr. Okiyama made in the 6 sun 54 move size. Only 12 of these very rare boxes were made. A couple of the boxes I was able to obtain had minor problems with the Yosegi (in one or 2 of these boxes the Yosegi didn't line up on one end of the boxes near the Kannuki) I am not going to sell the box with this very minor problem.
