Eric made versions of very difficult burrs out of very nice woods. These were made in late 2002 on his kitchen table using a hand saw and chistle. These were never used.

This design is a variation of Triumph where two pairs of pieces are fused, making it a much more difficult four-piece puzzle. All four symmetrical solutions are still possible. The puzzle is made of Koa wood and although only 4 pieces it is a really difficult puzzle to solve in the correct orientation. The Technicube by PUZZLE GUILD, Inc. is an antique puzzle made in the mid 1930s. There are 19 pieces that form the cube. The wood has been color dyed. The original box is included.

Notes: This classic from William Altekruse created more than a hundred years ago is still a fascinating puzzle. 12 identical pieces. Quite a nice challenge to put together. Very fun to play with. A must have in any collection.
